The port of Duisburg is one of the largest ports in Europe. Every year more than 2,000 seagoing ships call at the port and head for more than 100 different European coastal and inland ports. Hence Duisport is an important hub of the global shipping infrastructure.
The port is within easy reach. At 25 km from the SCHÄFER & URBACH headquarters it is a cost-effective and fast option for product shipments.

Düsseldorf international – Third largest airport in Germany
With about 90,000 t of cargo per year (average/day: 245 t), Düsseldorf International Airport is the right place to go when small items (spare parts) must be delivered to places anywhere in the world in a speedy manner. The SCHÄFER & URBACH headquarters is only 6 km away from the airport and can be reached within a few minutes via the nearby autobahn.

Also for visitors to the company, Düsseldorf International Airport is the most convenient place of arrival.

Being only 60 km away, the Cologne Bonn Airport is a suitable alternative. Germany’s largest airport is approximately 230 km away.
