BUNDLE PULLER

The bundle puller is used for extracting and installing tube bundles in plants and installations (refineries, chemical works, etc). Thanks to a Diesel engine driven hydraulic unit it is completely independent of external energy sources. By the stepless speed control of the drive engine it is possible to infinitely regulate the operating speeds for all functions and adjust them to the specific operating conditions. The mechanical layout gives the machine an extremely high degree of stability. Modern control technology provides very high operating security and a high degree of user friendliness.

Functional description:

Attach bundle puller to a suitable crane and lift slightly

Balance out the centre of gravity

Lift up close to the open heat exchanger

Fasten steel ropes to the heat exchanger and pull the device into position

Fix pulling frame by fixing claws

Move puller car in front of the bundle and fasten steel ropes between the bundle and the puller car

Pull the bundle out of the exchanger until the end of stroke by means of the puller car

Move lifting device into front position

Release the fixing claws

Release positioning devices

Lower the puller carefully, balance out the centre of gravity, then continue lowering

Optional control features:

Control cabinet at the pulling frame

OP7 on-site operator terminal for manual actuation of all functions and display of various values and messages

Radio remote control with a range of up to 100 m
